You will be responsible for the following aspects: 

Your agenda will include the technical leadership and development of staff as well as the training of own staff and interface departments. You will be responsible for pointing out and analysing deviations and weak points and initiate appropriate corrective measures and track their results. Furthermore, you instruct and supervise the workshops and external companies in order to achieve the set project and plant goals and support them with initial start-ups, safety instructions and the preparation of risk assessments. Your tasks also include market research to identify new technical solutions in the area of responsibility as well as independent benchmarking with comparable NKT locations and technical advice and support in the production area and for FE. You will independently process production and maintenance orders. Further main tasks are:

  • Carrying out training and instruction of production employees within the scope of commissioning of new plants, conversions and plant expansions.
  • Responsible coordination of complex projects with participation of several internal and external departments
  • Independent planning and management of cross-site project teams


To connect a greener world, you should have the following skills and experience:

You have a degree in mechanical engineering, design engineering or similar. An additional completed apprenticeship as a machine fitter, mechanic or mechatronics technician is an advantage. Furthermore, you have good knowledge of the regulations of the EC Machinery Directive and the Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health as well as professional experience as a project engineer or CAD designer. Extensive and sound project management skills as well as experience in using lean tools (e.g. A3, Six Sigma) and a lean culture round off your knowledge. Your profile is characterised by a communicative style of dealing as well as a structured and goal-oriented way of working, high commitment, flexibility and the ability to work in a team. Further important qualifications are:

  • Good knowledge of CAD SolidEdge
  • Experienced handling of SAP MM/PM
  • Very good knowledge of all MS Office programs
  • Very good knowledge of English
