Paralegal - IP and Corporate

NKT is looking for a Paralegal - IP and Corporate with an international mindset and a commercial perspective . Based in Czech Republic as part of our Corporate Commercial, Compliance & M&A department your focus is supporting NKT business lines NKT (cable and accessory manufacturer) worldwide.

To be successful in this role you should achieve a trustworthy relation with the additional team members within Corporate Commercial & M&A and Corporate Affairs. Your overall goal is to support the Corporate Commercial & M&A team on specific projects, including maintaining our contract database. You will also supporting Corporate Affairs’ communication via intranet, newsletters, etc.

Your other responsibilities are:

• Support in collection and preparation of board material
• Legal administration, document/signature handling and corporate registries
• Maintenance of the Contract Database (follow-up with business, upload of contracts, etc)

• Support NKT’s IP administration and registration

Team player able to handle multiple tasks

You bring minimum a Bachelor (BA) in language, business administration, law or similar education or office administration education. You have minimum 3 years of experience as an administrative assistant/coordinator from a large corporate organization, law firm or similar. You like to work independently while at the same time you are a team player. You are able to handle and prioritize among multiple tasks and deadlines and you are good at keeping focus on a complex project with many stakeholder.

In addition, we also expect:

• Experience with legal registries in Czech Republic and/or other European countries
• Experience with IP and Trademark administration is not a prerequisite but a plus
• Good IT skills in general
• Superuser in M/S Word and M/S Powerpoint

• SharePoint experience is a plus

You must be fluent in Czech and English. German is a plus, but not a prerequisite. You will be based in Kladno, Czech Republic, and report to the VP, Head of Legal – Corporate Commercial, Compliance & M&A in Denmark.
