Based at NKT in Kladno, in this position, you can have a significant influence on the creation and definition of activities for our plant. The main purpose of this role is constant improvement of our results, which is crucial for our efficiency and productivity factors but also for quality of the final product. To succeed, you must be able to pass on your personal passion for LEAN and make people understand why it is so utterly important, that means support, training and coaching of other colleagues at work.
Your primary tasks will be too:
- Support in solving problems in production, technology and maintenance
- Improving existing and creating new processes
- Participation / management of local improvement projects that are in line with the objectives of the NKT Kladno plant
We are looking for enthusiastic and open minded people who can think out of box and who are determined and able to ask and aswer the question. This calls for your communication skills including your ability to clearly state: “Why, What, How, Who and When”. To succeed, it is also important that you can convert your ideas into new ways of working via a good and constructive dialogue with your colleagues.
In addition, we also expect:
- High school education,
- Basic knowledge of English
- Knowledge of MS Office
Our factory is running 365/24/7. You will spend most a lot of time in production to see the processes. You will work closely together with your two Lean Specialist colleagues, reporting to Plant Director. The position is for 37,5 hours per week with some flexibility in order to uphold the production flow, possibility to work from home, employer′s pension contribution, meal vouchers and other benefits.
