In the role of Senior Manager Jointer (m/f/d) in an international environment with a northern Rhineland culture, you will have the opportunity for a wide range of activities with a broad spectrum of different communication levels. You will report directly to the Director Resource Management. In the future, you will have the opportunity to take on the position of divisional manager in Germany and thus develop further to become the deputy of the Director Resource Management. Your main focus will be on the development of the entire division as well as organisational development, including a great deal of creative freedom. 

You will be responsible for the following aspects: 

Your agenda includes personnel responsibility for approx. 20-28 employees/assemblers with international travel as well as the systematic development of the assemblers with regard to technology, HSE, working in projects and soft skills. You will empower and assign staff to carry out work and coordinate staff training. Furthermore, you will develop training and instruction documents and conduct project manager trainings for selected fitters. You will be responsible for hiring and onboarding of assemblers and manage the project management office (PMO) for continuous improvement at NKT sites. Further key tasks are:

  • Independent implementation Planning, execution and implementation of projects across a broad range of topics (e.g. introduction of process landscapes, IT system introductions, HSE projects, improvement systems, projects for better recording of key figures, etc.)
  • Implementation of structural decisions of the management, incl. independent project management
  • Promotion of safety awareness among employees and initiation of appropriate safety training courses

To connect a greener world, you should have the following skills and experience:
You have successfully completed a university degree in a technical or business environment and already have relevant professional experience as a manager. Furthermore, you have a very good ability to quickly think your way into different issues as well as a strong technical understanding and interest, ideally acquired through formal training and studies. Your profile is rounded off by strong stakeholder management as well as well-developed project management skills in various roles (PMO, project manager).

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, collaborative and solution-oriented
  • Approach with the ability to meet deadlines effectively

  • Fluent in English and German
